Sail Loft hosts “Fruit stand” community art-making event

On May 5, 6 and 13, the Sail Loft Art Collective had a community art-making event in which they decorated wooden and cloth fruits in order to populate local artist Laura Shabott’s “fruit stand” art installation, to be unveiled on Memorial Day 2026…items from the fruit stand will be sold as part of a fundraiser.
